Do you still remember the last time that you pampered yourself? For some people, it is a luxury to go out and relax. But with the modern competition, people from all walks of life suffer from severe headaches and body pains due to stress. For the information of everybody, relaxation is not a want, its actually a need. One has to give himself the avenue to relax to increase productivity.

You may call your doctor, but if your doctor will tell you that the possible cause of all those problems is stress if you experience constant headache and muscle strains. Bingo! In a long run you will realize that stress is simply part of life, but it can be managed and thrown in the bin if we know how to take care of our body. Eustress and distress are the two types of stress. Try the power of TENS units or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation units for pain relief if you experience body pains caused by either eustress or distress.

Tens is a modern therapy that assists patients to manage pain. This stimulates nerves and blocks the pain gate system before the brain could interpret the signal. This can be used as an alternative to various drugs for patients who are experiencing the negative effects of strong medications. This therapy is practiced to relieve many types and causes of pains

Who would have thought that there is what you call eustress or simply the positive stress. Yes! This can give us competitive edge in our daily activities either at work or at home to increase focus and mental responses to a particular stimulus. For instance, when you are in a job interview, at the height of curative stress, you will be able to answer all the questions simultaneously. Its almost the same when you are in love. The most insignificant things that will make you yell to death will suddenly turn out to be a laughing gas when you are at the peak of your emotions. The things that you hate the most will become so friendly when you are hit by cupids arrow. In eustress you will feel the dashing enthusiasm to do everything. However, too much of it will cause you to feel tired and would often lead you to different body pains.

Distress is another form of stress. It is simply the opposite of eustress. If eustress is compared to a person who fell in love, distress on the other hand is compared to a person who fell out of love. This brings unpleasant feelings that can lead to mental and physical problems. Dust on the table will drive you crazy like a mad dog. At this point, you will feel the negative effects of stress. THis is the time to contact your doctor or better yet try TENS therapy to relieve you from headaches brought by distress.

Whether one is experiencing distress or eustress, it is important to remember that there are a lot of ways to relieve ourselves from the impact of stress. WE can relax and go out of town with our loved ones to compensate for the lost energy or try TENS therapy.
