The British and the French are known worldwide to be horse aficionados. The British Royal family, specifically, are known to have priced competitive horses of the most excellent breed. Polo is another famous sport which was first played in Iran but was formalized and popularized by the British is where riders play as team with a goal of driving a white plastic or wooden ball into the opponents goal using a long-handled mallet. The objective of the game is for the team that is composed of four players from two teams, to score the most goals.
