Occasions like weddings are held in various manners depending on the cultural heritage, religion, social standing and other preferences. With the 20th century unfolding an adopted Westernized wedding ceremonies, where extravagance in almost everything can be observed, the media has dominated and dictated that once in a lifetime occasions such as weddings must be celebrated with bounty for the couple to have a bountiful life ahead.

The mixture of different cultures such as the influences brought about by the globalization has made wedding celebrations a mixture of both modern and long-held traditions while guests enjoy the more cultural, spiritual and ethnic traditions associated with wedding celebrations.

Though some criticize wedding practicalities, guests must remember that they are not invited just because of the gifts that they will be giving and should not expect to meet the wedding protocols and etiquettes such as getting what they have paid for in terms of their gifts but to celebrate the union of two individuals together to highlight their love for each other at the altar.

It has become part of the culture and social norms to give gifts that are of great use to the couple though it is not the guests responsibility to help the newly-weds. Selecting gifts at times can be very confusing especially if one is given a wide selection of gift items to choose from. Because of this, the so-called Bridal Registry of department stores, borne out of necessity, it does not only aim to assist the couples by having them register and list the items that they want as wedding gifts but also help invited guests to choose an appropriate gift. Therefore, those in attendance will definitely feel that they are giving the right gifts for the couple that even the most distant relative would feel the closeness to them.

Another way of helping out couples is that when wedding coordinators or planners incorporate in their program the wedding dance for the bride and groom where money is pinned to their garments while dancing. In its absence, small envelops are placed on the table for guests to fill with any amount while others fill it with gift certificates.

While nobody can please everyone, adhering to certain rituals and traditions, while maintaining uniqueness and giving guests something they will talk about fondly and not just getting something from them, will surely make it worth their while, especially those who have been from out-of-town or sacrificed something or someone just to attend the event.

Every bride and groom wants to be glamorous on their wedding day but there is no such thing as perfect weddings because having a perfect wedding comes from the hearts contentment and joy thus the more simple the happiness is the more a person finds contentment over simple lifes pleasures.
Author Resource:- To show you gratitude for their attendance, treat your guests to a line of wedding favors that will make them talk fondly about your big event. Such favors cost nothing compared to the joys that they have given you when celebrating your wedding day with them. unique wedding favors , available in the internet, will let them feel your closeness to them in the most personal way.
