Considered to be the most important subjects, yet the most neglected in terms of knowledge are the church acoustics and audio. This institution paved the way for the standards of sound system being used today.

The subject upon church acoustics & audio is very wide and is worthy of a whole course on college or any other understanding institution. But you cannot discover any course being offered relating to this subject. Thus, if you want to learn about the subject, either you may talk to an experienced person regularly, read from newsletters, or be an apprentice yourself.

The information written on this subject is very minimum and a lot of people have myths on church sound & acoustics that they believe in.a lot of individuals are certain that all it takes to have an audible church audio system is a couple of speakers, an amplifier or mixer, and a length of wire.Yet that is not possible if you want the entire congregation to hear what is being said.

Before the advent of increased sound, churches were designed & built so that the projection of the individual voice is possible without the make use of of an amplifier.Much of the aged churches that are still current today did not need strengthened sound due to their design, although with the outside noises of todays transportations (from airplanes to automobiles), tourists, shoppers, and all the other sounds of city development we can hardly hear the sound of mans voice. These locations of worship had no soundproofing and as a result they have to reinforce them with seem systems.

When the technology of seem reinforcement came out in the late 1940s, the contractors of contemporary churches proposed to help to make the changes necessary to save the church a lot of money.Their recommendation was to make identical variations of existing architectural designs & reduce the costs with regards to acoustical treatments and supplement it with appropriate sound systems. This also opened up the possibility to carpeting, cushioning of pews, & cheap wall finishing.Early on, the idea met with considerable achievement, which was due to the fact that the contractors imitated the look of traditional edifices.Naturally, building costs went down and high-end sound systems were utilized, sometimes costing as much as seven percent of the complete construction cost (thats higher than an architects fee).

These building companies never got hold of the information that a sound system is only as good as the acoustic design of the interior.Whenever the surface materials & the plan of the walls are not intended to supplement the acoustics, the sound system will have to work hard to compensate which.

Acoustic treatment products treat the room the absorbing materials are placed in. The materials treat the room by reducing reverberation, echo and standing waves etc. Absorbing materials such as acoustic foam and mineral wool do not stop sound from leaking out of the room. Acoustic tiles, for example, will cut down the 'liveness' of the room making it more suitable for performing music, recording music and even listening to music in.
Soundproofing is the isolating of the room from its outside world. It also reduces sound leakage between rooms. So, for example, if you have two recording rooms together you will need sound proofing to reduce Studio A being affected by Studio B.
Author Resource:- You can purchase a sound system for your church at online electronic dealers. They also have shure wireless microphoness available as well as wireless microphones.
